Diclofenac Sodium

Indication: It is effective in acute forms of pain, including renal colic, exacerbations of osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis, acute back pain, acute gout, acute trauma and fractures, and post-operative pain (IM use recommended). For treatment or prevention of postoperative pain in the hospital setting (IV use recommended)

Dosage: IM use: One ampoule once daily.

IV use: It must be diluted with 100- 500ml of either sodium chloride solution (0.9%) or glucose solution (5%).

Dosage: IM use: One ampoule once daily.

Note: Do must not be given as an intravenous bolus injection.
