Iron sucrose

Indication: It is used in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in patients undergoing chronic hemodialysis or chronic kidney disease (CKD)

Dosage: Adults & Elderly: 5-10ml iron sucrose (100 to 200mg iron) as a slow IV injection

Children: 0.15ml iron sucrose per kg body weight (3mg iron/kg) as a slow IV injection
